BET-Ghana is happy to receive Mr Abdul Bashiru Jibril as a guest researcher to support our research projects in the consumer goods and food processing industry in Ghana. Abdul Bashiru Jibril is a Ghanaian from the west Africa sub-region. He is currently a PhD scholar and a Research Assistant in the department of Management and Marketing, Faculty of Management and Economics at the Tomas Bata University in Zlin, Czech Republic. His research spans; consumer behaviour, social media marketing, big data analytics, domestic brand management and SME’s sustainability in a developing country. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in economics and entrepreneurship studies from the University for Development studies, Tamale – Ghana in 2012. Immediately after his bachelor’s degree and driven by a passion for the teaching profession, Mr. Jubril taught economics in a high school in Ghana. In 2016, he was granted a Czech government scholarship to pursue a master’s degree in management and marketing at his current university. Mr. Jibril’s interest in research motivated him to join the PhD program in September, 2018. The results of his research works have been published in peer-reviewed scientific journals and presented at numerous international conferences.
