We are pleased to announce that the UEED Africa 2020 conference proceedings outlining the papers presented during the conference have been published. The 8th “Universities, Entrepreneurship and Enterprise Development in Africa” (UEED Africa) conference took place on 19th and 20th February 2020 at Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences, Sankt Augustin. The conference was organized within the BET-Ghana project, which is funded by DAAD/BMZ. The UEED Africa conference aims to increase knowledge transfer between the private sector and academia, especially regarding entrepreneurship in Africa, the support of African and German SMEs in Africa, and the formation and acquisition of qualified personnel.
Over 200 participants attended the conference. Presentations and discussions covered a wide range of topics, including Business and Entrepreneurship, Entrepreneurial Education, E-learning and Digital Entrepreneurship, University-Industry, Tourism, Sustainable, responsible business, and Consumer Goods and Food Processing Industries. The next conference is scheduled to hold on the 8th and 9th of September 2021 at the University of Cape Coast, Ghana.
